The annual Vermont Church dinner is the real deal. Thing is, hardly anyone likes lutefisk – they’re there for the meatballs, which are swedish. At least the lefse is norwegian and everyone likes lefse. 30.8 miles, moderate. Just like a lutefisk dinner this ride is hard to stomach at first, but hang on, plenty of lefse is on the way.

The map with mile markers is here: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=1747137

There are hills to climb in the portion of this ride.  When you pull onto Union Valley Road, you hit your first hill.  We call it “Beagle Chase Hill”.  When you pass the farm on your left, you’ll find out why.  The climb up Vermont Church Road is short but steep.  There follows several long hills on County Rad JJ and Blue Mounds Trail but there is aslo a long beautiful flying descent.

The last leg is a long flat pull where you can spin.
